Silent Steel Micro Streamer Safeguard Heat Shield 55mm

Silent Steel Micro Streamer Safeguard Features The Silent Steel Safeguard is engineered as a thermal insulator for the Micro Streamer suppressor family mitigating the visible mirage effect that heat waves create around a hot can during sustained shooting. Its carbon fiber outer hull sits apart from the suppressor body forming an air gap that stops heat from conducting directly into the shield surface. When the shooter fires gun blast pressure draws air through venting holes at the back of the cover pulling cooling airflow across the suppressor and the shield at the same time. This active cooling design allows the Safeguard to remain safe to touch even after the suppressor underneath has climbed past 600 degrees Celsius for short periods. Despite its heat and impact resistance the Safeguard stays remarkably light at just 4 ounces so it adds minimal weight to a suppressor setup. Its low thermal transfer materials mean a shooter can detach a hot suppressor from the barrel without burning hands or melting gloves in the process. The Safeguard is compatible with stainless steel body Quick Detach QD lock and direct thread Streamer family suppressors covering the Streamer Compact Streamer Micro Streamer and Heavy Streamer lineup. Finished in Armor Black and sized for a 55mm diameter suppressor the Safeguard gives shooters a practical way to run a suppressor hard without sacrificing safety or comfort.
