Description
The SKB Standard Breakdown Shotgun Case is a black hard case built to carry one shotgun with its barrel up to 30 inches long. It is molded from ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, with the color running through the material so scratches are less visible. The polyethylene is resistant to solvents, oils, fuels and acids.
The molded-in bumpers and ribs are designed to absorb shock and vibration and to protect exposed hardware. The aluminum valance provides a tongue and groove closure, and a neoprene o-ring gasket helps keep out moisture. The case is rated to ATA (Air Transport Association) standards.
The case measures 33 inches overall. An attached HDPE shell holds barrels up to 30 inches. Weather-resistant o-ring seal and solid die-cast zinc locks with chrome plating secure the case.
