Smith & Wesson 916T Pump Action 12 Gauge 25" Shotgun

The Smith & Wesson Model 916T 12-gauge pump-action shotgun with a 25-inch barrel is a notable piece of American firearms history. Manufactured from 1973 to 1980, it represents an era when Smith & Wesson attempted to break into the budget-friendly sporting long-gun market. Features an ergonomic top tang safety selector identical to a modern Mossberg 500, with the slide release positioned behind the left side of the trigger guard. Most Model 916 variations were chambered to handle both 2 3/4-inch and heavier 3-inch magnum loads, making them versatile on paper for waterfowl and field use.
