Description
The Smith & Wesson Model 637 Airweight is a 5-shot, double-action/single-action revolver in the J-Frame lineage, built as a lightweight back-up and concealed carry handgun. It is a variation of the Model 37 Chiefs Special Airweight with updated features.
The revolver is chambered in 38 Special and has an aluminum alloy frame with a stainless steel barrel and cylinder in a matte silver finish. The barrel is 1.88 inches long, the overall length is 6.3 inches, and the weight is 15.4 ounces. Sights are an integral front and fixed rear, and the hammer is exposed. Black polymer grips carry a Crimson Trace Lasergrip laser sight.
