Description
The Smith & Wesson M&P 5.7 is a full-size striker-fired polymer pistol chambered in 5.7x28mm. It uses a 5-inch threaded barrel and a rotating TEMPO barrel system, which the manufacturer describes as pairing 5.7x28mm ballistics with consistent repeatability.
The pistol has a 22-round capacity (22+1 with a chambered round), a matte Flat Dark Earth finish, optic-height sights, and a slide cut for an optic. The frame includes an optimally textured grip, ambidextrous slide stop, reversible magazine release, flat-face trigger, and a Picatinny-style rail. It has a crisp single-action trigger break and a manual thumb safety.
