Hornady Critical Defense 5.7x28mm 40gr FTX 25 Rounds

Hornady Critical Defense 5.7x28mm ammunition is a 25-round box of defensive pistol ammunition built around a 40-grain Flex Tip eXpanding bullet. The polymer tip is intended to keep the hollow point cavity clear of clothing fibers so the bullet expands as designed on impact.

The load is rated at 1810 fps muzzle velocity and 291 ft-lbs of muzzle energy. The cartridges use nickel-plated brass cases, which help with locating spent brass and visually confirming a loaded chamber in low light. The propellant is formulated for low muzzle flash.

Each case contains 10 boxes of 25 rounds, 250 rounds total, for practice and carry rotation in 5.7x28mm pistols.
