Smith & Wesson Pre-17 22 LR Revolver

This Smith & Wesson Pre-17 is chambered in .22 LR and represents one of the finest target revolvers produced during the golden age of American firearms manufacturing. Based on the K-prefix serial number K7942, this revolver was likely manufactured in the late 1940s, approximately 1947-1948. This example appears to be in very good condition, retaining strong original blue finish with only light handling wear visible. The grips remain attractive with sharp checkering, and the overall appearance suggests careful ownership over the years.
