Smith & Wesson Performance Center Model 460 XVR 460 S&W Mag 14" Revolver

The Smith & Wesson Model 460 Performance Center XVR is a double-action/single-action revolver built on the Extra Large X-Frame for the .460 S&W Magnum cartridge. Smith & Wesson markets it as an X-treme Velocity Revolver, with a stated velocity of over 2,300 feet per second. The interchangeable compensators are intended to accommodate different loads, and the gain-twist rifled barrel is positioned for accuracy at long range.

The revolver has a 14-inch barrel with a muzzle brake, a 5-round capacity, and a satin stainless steel frame, cylinder and barrel finish. It weighs 5.44 pounds, measures 21.5 inches overall, and uses a ramp front sight with an adjustable rear sight. The black finger-grooved polymer grips and exposed hammer complete the design.

The package includes a bipod. The frame has an internal lock for safety.
