Sons of Liberty Gun Works Broadsword Billet L89 223 Wylde 14.5" P&W NOX Upper

Sons of Liberty Gun Works Broadsword Upper Receiver Features The Sons of Liberty Gun Works Broadsword Upper Receiver uses an extended barrel nut Drivelock tensioning crossbolts and a keyed upper receiver face that mates tightly with the 89 series rail system. Anti-rotation tabs combined with a stainless steel center index dowel lock the handguard and receiver together with a rigidity that traditional two piece AR-15 construction cannot match. This billet upper allows a builder to turn almost any compatible lower receiver into a match grade rifle without needing a monolithic upper design. The 14.5 inch precision SPR barrel is chambered in .223 Wylde giving it the versatility to shoot both 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington ammunition accurately. A 5/8x24 threaded muzzle is fitted with the NOX-9 flash hider which is pinned and welded in place to bring the barrel to a legal 16 inch overall length while remaining compatible with KeyMo suppressor mounts. The included 13.75 inch L89 handguard carries the same 7-sided M-LOK slots and integral QD sockets found on SOLGW s standalone rail offerings. Finished in a matte black coating this upper does not include a bolt carrier group or charging handle so builders will need to source those separately. For anyone seeking the rigidity of the 89 series Drivelock system on an existing lower this Broadsword Upper Receiver is a serious upgrade.
