Description
The Spikes Tactical BAR2 Quad Rail is a one-piece free float handguard for AR-15 rifles, designed for shooters who want a continuous top rail and clearance for a suppressor or low-profile gas block. Its scalloped rail design reduces weight and allows the rail to be run without rail covers, and its ventilation openings aid heat dissipation.
The handguard is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and has a 7075-T6 aluminum barrel nut, with a black Type III hardcoat anodized finish. It measures 13.2 inches long with a 1.8-inch inside diameter and weighs 14.9 ounces including the barrel nut and screws. Built-in anti-rotation tabs help hold the barrel nut in place.
The rail includes a continuous 1913 Picatinny top rail and six built-in QD sockets for sling attachment. Three ERgo rail covers, one heavy-duty sling loop, and installation hardware are included. The barrel nut works with a standard USGI 3-pin barrel nut wrench.
