Description
The Midwest Industries Gen 2 Two-Piece Free Float Handguard is a 12.5-inch rail for the AR-15 that replaces the factory forend without requiring removal of the barrel nut, barrel, or gas block. The rail clamps onto the factory barrel nut to create a free-floating rail, and installation requires cutting off the delta ring.
The handguard is machined from 6061 aluminum with a matte black hard coat anodized finish. The rails are Mil-Spec 1913 and T-marked for accessory placement, and the top rail is designed to match standard A4 flat-top uppers for a continuous rail system.
