Description
The Midwest Industries G2 Two-Piece Drop-In Mid-Length 9-inch handguard is a black replacement for the factory polymer handguard on AR-15 rifles. It is made from 6061 aluminum with a hard coat anodized finish and provides MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rails for mounting accessories.
The handguard is a two-piece drop-in design with four Picatinny rails marked with laser-engraved T-marks to indicate accessory locations. Installation follows the same procedure as the original polymer handguards and does not require gunsmithing or permanent alterations. It is compatible with mid-length direct gas and most gas piston systems, excluding those produced by Osprey Defense. The barrel nut is not included.
