Spikes Tactical ST-T3 Tungsten Heavy Carbine Buffer 5.5oz

The Spikes Tactical ST-T3 Tungsten Heavy Carbine Buffer is a replacement buffer for AR-15 carbine systems, designed to be heavier than the standard carbine buffer supplied with most rifles. Its added mass is intended to reduce wear and recoil impulse and to help limit bolt bounce and muzzle rise during rapid fire.

The buffer weighs 5.5 oz. Its body is CNC machined from solid aluminum billet and finished in black hardcoat anodizing. Each unit contains crushed tungsten weights, and it is topped with a Mil-Spec bumper. The design is sealed, so it has no fluids and requires no maintenance.

The ST-T3 is listed for AR-15 and AR-10 carbine buffer systems and is designed for .223/5.56 use. The manufacturer notes it may also be used in other calibers that call for a 5.5 oz buffer.
