Springfield Armory Hellion 5.56 NATO 16" Bullpup Semi-Auto Rifle 30Rd

The Springfield Armory Hellion is a semi-automatic bullpup rifle chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO and 223 Remington. In the bullpup layout, the action sits behind the trigger, which keeps the overall length short relative to the barrel. The rifle is built for users who want a compact long gun with the reach of a 16-inch barrel.

The rifle has a 16-inch barrel with a threaded muzzle and an overall length of 28.25 inches. It weighs 8 pounds and is made largely of polymer with a black, Melonite-finished action. It uses flip-up front and rear sights and has a 30-round magazine capacity. Controls are ambidextrous, and the case ejection can be reversed to suit either shooting side.

Quick-detach mount points are located on both sides of the rifle so a sling can be set up for either hand. A two-position adjustable gas block offers suppressed and normal settings for different conditions and ammunition.
