Description
The Springfield Armory 1911 Mil-Spec is a full-size, single-action semi-automatic pistol chambered in 45 ACP, built on the 1911 platform with a forged carbon steel frame and slide. It follows the traditional 1911 design, with an arched mainspring housing modeled on G.I.-issue 1911-A1 pistols.
The pistol has a 5-inch stainless steel match-grade barrel, a 7-round capacity, and a black Parkerized finish on the frame and slide. The slide has rear slant serrations, the trigger is military-style, and the sights are 3-dot fixed combat sights. It has a manual thumb safety and an overall length of 8.6 inches, and weighs about 2.44 pounds.
The Mil-Spec includes Crossed Cannon cocobolo grips and two magazines.
