Spyderco C229GS Shaman 3.58 CPM-S30V Serrated Edge Blade Features: Though its inspiration is clearly drawn from the iconic Native model the Shaman offers much much more. Similar ergonomics of its proven inspiration but in a larger more capable format. In fact this workhorse could give the Manix 2 pattern competition as it is roughly the same size and will deliver the same performance. The true heart and soul of any knife is its blade and the Shaman delivers where it counts most. The CPM-S30V stainless steel blade though technically a saber grind performs like an FFG blade but with a prominent swedge (unsharpened back bevel) - hence a saber grind. The blade shape creates outstanding edge geometry and an acute utilitarian point. The fully accessible Trademark Round Hole(TM) that proves its Spyderco lineage ensures swift reliable one-handed opening with either hand. The stonewash finish blade is housed in an exceptionally refined ergonomic handle built with nested skeletonized stainless steel liners and contoured matte-finished G-10 scales. This robust construction forms the foundation of the Shaman s high-strength Compression Lock(TM) mechanism which locks the blade securely open and allows safe easy one-handed closing. To ensure convenient carry and immediate access a stonewashed four-position pocket clip offers left or right-side tip-up or tip-down carry. Available with either a PlainEdge(TM) or fully serrated SpyderEdge(TM) blade the Shaman offers powerful cutting magic in a stylish user-friendly format.
