Steiner TS740 Spotting Scope 7-40x60mm Coyote Tan

The Steiner TS740 is a straight-body spotting scope with a 60mm objective and a 7-40x zoom range, intended for long-distance observation on the range or while glassing in the field. Its coyote tan finish is the color listed for this model.

The scope is listed as waterproof. Its magnification range covers low-power scanning at 7x through high-power detail at 40x, and it carries a 1/2 Mil Dot reticle for estimating range and holdover. The overall length is 14.88 inches and the listed weight is 2.67 pounds.

Because the TS740 is a straight-body design, it mounts on a tripod for steady viewing at high magnification. The retailer's own weight figure differs from the listed specification and is not used here.
