Description
The Strike Industries ARCH-EL is an AR-15 charging handle with an extended aluminum latch, intended to replace a standard charging handle on a 223 Remington or 5.56x45mm NATO rifle. It is machined from T-6 7075 aluminum and finished in Flat Dark Earth hard anodizing, and the ambidextrous design lets the operator charge the rifle from either side.
The extended latch provides a larger grasping surface for operation in adverse conditions, and the aluminum latch is intended to avoid the wear on the receiver that steel latches can cause. Aluminum construction also reduces weight. It fits standard AR-15 charging handle receivers and requires no gunsmithing.
