The blade carries a black Cerakote finish that adds corrosion resistance on top of the carbon steel s inherent hardness helping the knife withstand exposure to moisture and rough handling in the field. At a hardness rating of 58 to 59 the blade holds its edge well while still allowing for field sharpening when needed. The plain edge gives the knife a clean consistent cutting surface suited to both fine tasks and heavier utility work. The black G10 handle provides a secure no-slip grip even in the wettest and grittiest conditions a critical feature for a knife designed for tactical and survival use.
