Description
The SureFire Warden Blast Diffuser is a muzzle device for 5.56x45mm NATO and 7.62x51mm NATO rifles. It directs the concussive blast forward of the weapon rather than to the sides, which is intended to reduce the side blast associated with muzzle brakes and flash hiders. Forward redirection is meant to lower overpressure for shooters positioned beside the firing line and to limit dust signature when firing from prone positions.
The diffuser is made from stainless steel with a black Cerakote finish and measures 3.5 inches overall. It attaches using SureFire's Fast-Attach mount, the same interface used on SOCOM Series suppressors. It is listed as non-NFA.
It fits SureFire SOCOM 5.56 and 7.62 muzzle devices and is intended for AR-15/M16 and AR-308 pattern rifles.
