Description
The TacStar SideSaddle Rail Mount is a black hardcoat anodized aluminum shell holder that attaches to the receiver of a Remington 870 shotgun. It is designed to carry six 12 gauge shells in a low-profile sidesaddle arrangement that straddles both sides of the receiver for added rigidity.
A raised Picatinny rail on top can accept a range of accessories and is positioned high enough to keep the shotgun's standard bead sight usable. The non-glare anodized finish reduces reflection. The unit is machined from billet aluminum and uses a proprietary shell retention material.
Per the manufacturer's listing, the mount fits the Remington 870, 1100 and 11-87 platforms.
