Description
The TacStar Slimline SideSaddle is a side-mounted shell carrier for 12 gauge shotguns, designed to hold spare rounds within reach for faster reloads. It is built for the Mossberg 500 and 590 series and is listed as compatible with the Maverick 88.
The unit has a black hardcoat anodized aluminum backing plate that is non-glare and contoured to take up less space on the receiver with fewer snag points. The shell carrier is molded from a rigid, weather-resistant polymer and holds 6 rounds. An internal flexible retention strip secures the shells while allowing them to be removed easily.
The carrier is smaller than a traditional SideSaddle, giving it a streamlined profile. It mounts to the receiver.
