Description
The TacStar Slimline SideSaddle is a side-mounted shell carrier for the Remington 870 shotgun, designed to keep 12 gauge ammunition within reach for faster reloads. It is a streamlined version of the standard SideSaddle, with a contoured backing plate and a smaller shell carrier that take up less space on the receiver and have fewer edges that can snag.
The carrier is built from a rigid, weather-resistant polymer with an internal flexible retention strip that holds the shells securely while allowing easy removal. The backing plate is an anodized aluminum plate with a non-glare hardcoat finish. The carrier holds 6 rounds of 12 gauge shells.
The unit fits the Remington 870, 1100 and 1187 and mounts to the receiver. It is offered in black.
