Description
The Tactical Solutions X-Ring VR Gen 2 Takedown is a replacement lower receiver for Ruger 10/22 takedown rifles chambered in 22 LR. It is built for semi-automatic operation and is offered in a matte black finish.
The receiver is described as ambidextrous and includes an integral scope rail for optic mounting. The retailer text lists a 15-MOA rail, while the included feature list states 10 MOA; the rail value should be confirmed against the product. A noise-dampening bolt buffer and a stainless-steel bolt with top bolt flutes are cited as features, along with a through-the-back cleaning port. The receiver uses standard 10-round rotary magazines.
It is intended as a platform for a 10/22 takedown build and is described as easy to install.
