The rear ring is stamped for a lifetime of repeating use. Your scope will always be perfectly aligned because the tension screw adjustment system automatically adjusts for even the difference in in camber. The Talley Steel Base Extended is designed to be used with all Talley dovetail rings on standard spacer / integral mounts however any standard base will do. If you need greater flexibility the Extended Base can be used with any of Talley's dovetail extensions but may have to be drilled for the dovetail nut on the back / front of the base. Please be aware that the dovetail and ring nut are not included with the product and must be purchased separately.
