Tannerite 1/2 Lb Half Brick Binary Exploding Targets 4-Pack

The Tannerite Half Brick 1/2 Pound Target is a binary exploding target sold as a four-pack, intended for use as a shot indicator on rifle ranges. Each target consists of separately packaged components, an ammonium nitrate target compound and an aluminum powder catalyst, that are mixed on site before use.

Detonation is initiated by the impact of centerfire rifle bullets weighing 40 grains traveling at 2000 feet per second into the mixed target container. The targets are rated for 223 Remington, 308 Winchester and 6.5 Creedmoor calibers. Each pack includes a mixing container, target containers and catalyst packets, along with ear plugs and a sticker.

Mixed material is subject to explosives regulations and should not be transported, stored or sold without the appropriate endorsements. Keep all observers and objects that could become shrapnel more than 100 yards from the target.
