Tannerite ProPack 10 1 lb Exploding Rifle Targets 10 Pack

The Tannerite ProPack 10 is a pack of ten 1 lb binary exploding rifle targets intended for use as shot indicators. Each target is a container of ammonium nitrate, with aluminum powder supplied separately as the catalyst. The two components are individually packaged and are mixed only at the point of use, and the target is designed to detonate when struck by a qualifying centerfire rifle bullet.

Detonation requires a centerfire rifle bullet of 40 grains or heavier traveling at 2000 feet per second or faster. The pack includes a mixing container, target containers, and catalyst packets, and the targets are shipped at roughly 12 lbs. The product is intended for use only as a shot indicator, away from populated areas, with all observers and potential shrapnel kept more than 100 yards from the target. Pointed bullets are noted as more effective than blunt bullets for this purpose.
