Tannerite Starter Kit 1/2 lb Exploding Targets 6 Pack

The Tannerite Starter Kit is a binary exploding target set containing six 1/2 lb targets, sold as a bundle for use as shot indicators. Each target is formulated from ammonium nitrate as the target component and aluminum powder as the catalyst, with each component individually packaged. Detonation occurs when a centerfire rifle bullet of 40 grains or more, traveling at 2000 feet per second or faster, strikes the mixed container.

The kit includes a mixing container, target containers, and catalyst packets. The mixed composition must not be transported, stored, or sold without the appropriate explosives endorsements. Use only away from populated areas and keep all observers and potential shrapnel over 100 yards from the target.
