Taurus Deputy Nickel 45 Colt 5.5" 6-Round Revolver

Taurus Deputy Features The Taurus Deputy brings old west design into modern manufacturing built as a single-action-only revolver with an exposed hammer that falls easily under the thumb for fast repeatable shooting. Chambered in .45 Colt the medium steel frame carries a 5.5 inch alloy steel barrel with a polished nickel finish that matches the nickel cylinder and frame for a bright uniform look. The transfer bar safety mechanism isolates the firing pin from the hammer until the trigger is fully pressed making it safe to carry with all six chambers loaded. A half-moon front sight reminiscent of nineteenth century single-action revolvers pairs with a fixed rear notch for a traditional sighting picture well suited to recreational and cowboy action shooting. High-gloss Altamont wood grips finished in black give the Deputy a period-correct look while standing up to repeated handling at the range or in competition. At 41.6 ounces unloaded with an 11.04 inch overall length the revolver balances well in the hand without feeling front heavy and the 6-groove rifling stabilizes .45 Colt loads out to the barrel s full length. The alloy steel cylinder and barrel are built to handle sustained range use while the polished nickel finish resists handling wear and adds visual appeal over a plain blued gun. Whether for single-action sport shooting historical reenactment or simply owning a piece of firearms heritage the Taurus Deputy delivers classic styling backed by a dependable modern safety system.
