Description
The Taurus Deputy is a single-action revolver chambered in .45 Colt, built for shooters who want a compact, classic-style handgun. Both the barrel and frame carry a black polished finish, and the steel frame is paired with black polymer grips.
The revolver has a 4.75-inch steel barrel with a 1:16.50 twist rate, a 6-round cylinder, and fixed blade front and fixed rear sights. It is single-action only, so the hammer must be cocked before each shot. A transfer bar safety keeps the hammer from reaching the firing pin unless the trigger is fully pulled.
The Deputy is listed as a small-frame revolver with a height of 5.11 inches and a width of 1.65 inches. Its 6-round capacity and .45 Colt chambering make it suited to shooters who want a classic revolver with fixed sights.
