Taurus ~ PT92 AF ~ 9mm Luger

The Taurus PT92 AF is a reliable, 9mm Luger, hammer-fired DA/SA pistol heavily inspired by the Beretta 92. It is highly valued for its frame-mounted safety (which doubles as a decocker), 17+1 capacity, and smooth single-action trigger. It is a highly respected, budget-friendly alternative to the Beretta.
