The Taylor 1873 Action Revolver, manufactured by Pietta in Italy, is reminiscent of the revolvers used in the last decades of the 19th Century West. Like the old six-guns, the 1873 SA is ruggedly built and points naturally and it has the added advantage of an enhance safety that the old guns didn't have. It utilizes a rugged, fixed groove rear sight that can't possibly get knocked out of alignment and a simple blade front sight that draws smoothly from holsters. The checkered wood grips are pleasing to the eye and provide a comfortable hold.
