Thompson/Center Encore ProHunter Field 12 Gauge 26" Break Action Shotgun

Thompson Center Encore Pro Hunter Features The Thompson Center Encore Pro Hunter features a fully rifled 26-inch barrel engineered specifically for sabot slug accuracy giving hunters the precision needed to make clean ethical shots on big game at distances that would challenge a smoothbore slug gun. The patented Swing Hammer allows the hammer spur to be offset left or right making the shotgun genuinely ambidextrous for shooters of either hand without buying a mirrored action. A nitride-coated trigger and sear along with a nitride-coated firing pin and bushing improve smoothness and long-term durability of the action so the trigger break stays consistent shot after shot across seasons of hard hunting use. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounting letting hunters add an optic to further improve shot placement at distance and take full advantage of the rifled barrel s inherent accuracy. The Flex Tech stock incorporates a LimbSaver AirTech recoil pad significantly reducing felt recoil from heavy slug loads without adding bulk to the stock which keeps the gun comfortable through a long day of range work or an extended hunt. Thanks to the Encore s interchangeable barrel system the same receiver used for this shotgun barrel can also accept rifle and muzzleloader barrels giving hunters a single platform across multiple hunting seasons and eliminating the need to buy a separate gun for each one. A black synthetic stock pairs with a Stainless Steel finished barrel and receiver for a durable weather-resistant combination that stands up to wet blinds harsh weather and rough field conditions. For slug hunters who want rifle-like accuracy from a dedicated shotgun barrel a comfortable shooting experience and a receiver platform that expands as their hunting pursuits do the Thompson Center Encore Pro Hunter is available for sale at ARMSAGORA.
