Thompson/Center Encore ProHunter 6mm Creedmoor 26" Stainless Threaded Barrel

Thompson Center Encore ProHunter Rifle Barrel Features The Thompson Center Arms Encore ProHunter Barrel is machined from stainless steel and fluted along its length to cut weight while adding rigidity which helps the barrel resist heat buildup across strings of fire in the field. Chambered in 6mm Creedmoor it carries a 1:10 twist rate suited to the heavier bullet weights that make the cartridge effective at extended range. A threaded 5/8x24 muzzle accepts brakes suppressors or other muzzle devices giving hunters options for recoil management without sending the barrel out for gunsmithing. Every barrel is factory test fired at 100 yards before it leaves the plant so accuracy is verified ahead of time rather than left to chance. Because this barrel is built specifically for Encore series rifles it drops in with no gunsmithing required letting an existing Encore owner add a new caliber or a fresh barrel in minutes. It will not fit Contender or G2 Contender frames so shooters should confirm their receiver type before ordering. The stainless steel finish resists corrosion in wet or humid hunting conditions better than a blued barrel would keeping the bore protected across seasons of storage and use. For Encore owners looking to expand into 6mm Creedmoor without buying a whole new rifle this barrel is a straightforward accuracy-tested upgrade.
