Thompson Center Encore ProHunter 6.5 Creedmoor 15" Fluted Stainless Pistol Barrel

Thompson Center Encore ProHunter Barrel Features The Thompson Center Encore ProHunter barrel is machined from stainless steel and chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor pairing corrosion resistance with the flatter trajectory and extended range this cartridge is known for. Fluting is cut into the barrel to reduce weight while maintaining structural rigidity a combination that helps keep the single-shot Encore pistol balanced and easier to handle during extended range sessions. At 15 inches in length with a 1:8 twist rate the barrel is sized and rifled to stabilize the 6.5 Creedmoor s typical bullet weights for consistent accuracy. A 5/8x24 threaded muzzle gives shooters the option to add a suppressor or muzzle device without further gunsmithing. Every ProHunter barrel is test fired by the factory at 100 yards before it ships a quality control step that verifies real-world accuracy rather than relying solely on machining tolerances. This barrel ships with no sights installed leaving the shooter free to mount a scope or red dot of their choosing on the Encore s receiver. It is designed specifically for Encore series frames and will not fit Contender or G2 Contender receivers so buyers need to confirm their frame before ordering. For Encore pistol owners looking to add a long-range 6.5 Creedmoor option with a weather-resistant accuracy-tested stainless barrel this ProHunter barrel delivers a direct no-gunsmithing upgrade.
