Thompson Center Encore Prohunter 45 Colt/410 Bore 15" Stainless Vent Rib Barrel

Thompson Center Encore Shotgun Barrel Features The Thompson Center Arms Encore Barrel is machined from stainless steel and finished with a vented rib along the top of the barrel to reduce heat mirage and aid fast target tracking. Swapping this barrel onto a compatible Encore frame requires no gunsmithing just removing the forend and tapping out the barrel to frame hinge pin. The included extra full turkey choke tightens shot patterns for the longer range precise shots that turkey hunting demands. A 3 inch chamber gives the barrel the capacity to run a wide range of .45 Colt loads suited to small game and turkey hunting. D.T. sights come factory installed for quick sight acquisition without adding aftermarket parts. At 15 inches the barrel keeps the overall package short and maneuverable for still hunting or sitting in a blind waiting on a tom. Because the barrel mounts to any Encore Prohunter frame hunters who already own a frame can expand its versatility without purchasing an entirely new firearm. This stainless steel vent rib barrel is a focused purpose built upgrade for the dedicated Encore turkey hunter.
