Timber Creek Outdoors Pencil 5.56 NATO 16" Midlength Barrel Black Nitride

Timber Creek Outdoors Pencil Barrel Features The Timber Creek Outdoors Pencil Barrel uses a slim pencil profile to shave weight off the front of an AR-15 build making the rifle faster to maneuver and more comfortable to carry over long days. Despite its slim profile the 16 inch midlength gas system length is chosen to provide smooth reliable cycling and reduced felt recoil compared to a carbine length system. The 1:7 inch twist rate stabilizes a wide range of 5.56 NATO bullet weights from lightweight varmint loads to heavier longer projectiles. M4 feed ramps are integrated into the barrel extension improving feeding reliability across a variety of magazine types and ammunition. Finished in black nitride the barrel resists corrosion and wear while maintaining a consistent durable surface through heavy use. At 0.750 inches in diameter the barrel fits standard AR-15 handguards and gas block configurations without modification. Threaded at 1/2x28 it accepts standard muzzle devices compensators or suppressors for shooters looking to customize their rifle s recoil and sound management. Timber Creek Outdoors built this barrel for AR-15 builders who want a lightweight reliable upgrade without compromising accuracy or feeding reliability.
