Timber Creek Outdoors Thread Protector 1/2x28 Black Billet Aluminum

Timber Creek Outdoors Thread Protector Features The Timber Creek Outdoors Thread Protector is machined from billet aluminum rather than cast or stamped material giving it tighter tolerances and a more consistent thread engagement than mass produced caps. That billet construction also means the protector resists the dings and wear that a muzzle cap takes from being removed and reinstalled repeatedly. At 4 long it fully covers the exposed threads ahead of the barrel nut keeping them clean and free of debris when no muzzle device is attached. The 1/2x28 thread pattern matches one of the most common thread specs on the market so it threads directly onto a wide range of factory and aftermarket barrels. Installation requires no tools beyond simply threading the protector on by hand making it a quick addition to a barrel that is between muzzle devices. Keeping the threads capped protects them from corrosion and galling during storage transport or everyday carry which helps a muzzle device thread on smoothly down the road. Finished in black the protector matches the typical finish of most barrels and muzzle devices for a clean factory look. The Timber Creek Outdoors Thread Protector is a simple practical accessory for any shooter who wants to keep a 1/2x28 muzzle protected and ready.
