The Tokarev TAR 12MP is a semi-automatic, magazine-fed 12 gauge shotgun built on an AR-style layout, giving it a familiar manual of arms and controls for shooters used to that platform. It is intended for general shooting use.
The shotgun has an 18.5 inch barrel with a chrome-lined stainless steel bore, an aluminum receiver, and a polymer stock. It chambers 3 inch 12 gauge shells and holds 5 rounds in a detachable T-1919 style magazine. The electroless nickel finish is paired with black furniture. Polymer front and flip-up rear BUIS sights are included, and the receiver and handguard carry multiple Picatinny rails for optics and accessories. The overall length is 37.75 inches and the weight is about 7.5 pounds.
