Underwood Ammo 629 460 Rowland 255gr Hard Cast Flat Nose 20 Rounds

Underwood Ammo Handgun Ammunition Features The Underwood Ammo 629 is loaded to a supersonic rating in .460 Rowland delivering 1300 fps and 957 ft lbs of muzzle energy from a 255 grain projectile. The Hard Cast Flat Nose bullet is designed to hold its shape and drive deep rather than expand and slow down which is exactly what is needed when the target is heavy muscle and dense bone. A sectional density of 0.18 keeps the bullet tracking straight through tissue for reliable penetration on medium to large game. This combination of velocity and bullet design makes the 629 a serious option for hunters who need their sidearm to perform as a backup against dangerous game. Each round rides on nickel-plated brass casing which resists corrosion in humid field conditions and cycles smoothly through semi-auto actions. The Black Cherry bullet coating reduces barrel fouling and friction on the way out of the bore helping maintain consistent velocities shot after shot. Twenty rounds ship per box giving hunters and range shooters enough ammunition on hand for a day afield or a serious practice session.
