The Ascend-14 Tripod is one of the most versatile and compact platforms ever produced by Really Right Stuff, and was produced using customer feedback. The center column is also removable, this feature is very useful for positioning your optic or camera in a more complex positions, such as shooting low to the ground or shooting under your tripod. For those that already own one of Really Right Stuff’s ball heads, or any other head with a 3/8” mounting socket, a platform version of the Ascend-14 is available, which features a more traditional platform with mounting stud.
