UST Deluxe Map Compass Clear with Breakaway Lanyard

The UST Deluxe Map Compass is a clear, liquid-filled navigation compass for hikers, hunters and backcountry travelers. The liquid housing dampens needle movement to give a steadier reading over rough terrain. A swivel bezel lets the user set a precise heading, and a built-in magnifier helps read fine map details and small topographic markings in low light.

The extended clear base plate allows the map beneath it to remain visible while plotting routes. Multiple measuring scales on the base plate support distance calculations across different map formats, and an adjustable marching line helps maintain a consistent bearing once a route is set. The compass measures 5 inches by 2.4 inches by 0.6 inches and weighs 1.8 ounces. A breakaway lanyard is included so it can be worn around the neck and released if it snags on brush or gear.
