UTG MT-RM870 Optic Mount for Remington 870 12 Gauge

Leapers Optic Mount Features The Leapers Optic Mount is machined from a combination of 6061-T6 aluminum and polymer giving it a strong yet lightweight structure sized specifically for the Remington 870 and 870DM receiver. Its scalloped full length Picatinny top rail opens up real estate for red dots or magnified optics while cutting away just enough material to leave the factory bead sight visible underneath. Finished in matte black anodizing the mount resists wear and glare matching the dark finish most 870 pattern shotguns already carry. At 7.34 long and 2.52 tall it adds minimal bulk while still providing a stable optic mounting surface. A removable 4-shell carrier built into the mount gives the shooter quick access to extra ammunition without needing a separate side saddle accessory. The mount is designed around 3.5 and under chamber clearance so it installs cleanly on 12 gauge 870 and 870DM shotguns without any drilling tapping or other permanent modification. At just 7 oz the added weight is minimal keeping the shotgun s balance close to its original feel even with an optic mounted. For hunters and tactical shooters looking to add a no-modification optic rail with onboard shell storage to their 870 the Leapers Optic Mount is a practical direct fit solution.
