Volquartsen Summit Receiver and Bolt 22 LR Black

Volquartsen Summit Receiver and Bolt Features The Volquartsen Summit Receiver and Bolt converts the semi-auto Ruger 10/22 platform into a straight-pull bolt-action rifle chambered in .22 LR giving rimfire shooters a fundamentally different shooting experience built for precision. Machining the bolt and receiver from aluminum alloy keeps the completed rifle light while the hard-coat anodized black finish resists wear from repeated cycling and handling. Because the action is a straight-pull design the shooter can run the bolt quickly without breaking cheek weld which helps maintain sight picture between shots. The receiver s matte black finish gives the completed build a clean purposeful look that matches its precision-oriented purpose. An integral Picatinny optics rail is machined directly into the top of the receiver with 20 MOA of built-in elevation to help compensate for bullet drop at extended rimfire distances. This eliminates the need for a separate scope base or shims when mounting a magnified optic for long-range rimfire work. The Summit receiver and bolt are compatible with most Ruger 10/22 aftermarket stocks triggers and barrels so builders can mix and match components to create a rifle tailored exactly to their preferences. At 1 pound 4 ounces the receiver and bolt add minimal weight to the finished rifle keeping the build light and easy to handle in the field or at the range.
