Walther PPS Pistol, 9mm Luger, 3″ Barrel

The Walther PPS (Polizei-Pistole Schmal / Police Pistol Slim) is a subcompact, striker-fired semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm Luger. Originally introduced in 2007, the PPS pioneered the modern ultra slimpolymer-framed single-stack market. The line is split into two generations: the Classic (M1), known for its European-style paddle magazine release, and the highly popular PPS M2, which features standard American-style thumb-button magazine mechanics and deeply contoured ergonomics. It remains a benchmark for deep-concealment reliability.
