This preserves the sturdy properties of steel whilst incorporating necessary ductility that calls for perfect grip contact around the scope\'s circumference.Uniquely, the Maxima QD rings feature Warne\'s indexable lever system which enables you to detach the optics from the rifle and reattach it without losing zero. This allows the lever location to be indexed after the rings are fixed to the bases. Once the levers are secure, simply pull on the lever, adjust it to the preferred location and allow it to click into place.When used with the all-steel Warne Maxima bases, we guarantee return to zero accuracy upon removing and reattaching the optics. Notably, the Maxima QD comes with square stainless steel recoil control key - unique in its industry. This provides a solid recoil engagement surface across the entire width and depth of the recoil slot in the base.
