Historical Significance: The WWII BAR Magazine Belt is an iconic piece of military history. The belt was designed in 1937 specifically for use with the Browning Automatic Rifle. Construction & Size: Adjustable to fit waist sizes up to 52 inches. The belt is crafted from quality cotton webbing and canvas. This material can withstand regular use due to being durable and long-lasting. Approx. size of an individual pouch 5'' x 3'' x 2'' Holds 12 Magazines: The replica belt can hold up to 12 BAR magazines, just like the original. Each magazine can hold 20 rounds of .30-06 Springfield ammunition. These are made for 20 round magazines for the Browning Automatic Rifle. These mags are 5.75". They are not made for M14 magazines, which are slightly taller are about .25" taller. The rest range from very tight but if one pulls up in the Lift the dot post hard, rip out a snap. Comfortable Magazine Storage: The design of the belt is intended to distribute the weight of the magazines evenly across the gunner's hips and provide easy access to the magazines during combat. Buckle and Hooks: The replica belt features an authentic Brass metal buckle and two metal hooks for attaching to the gunner's suspenders, just like the original. The M14 magazine is about .25" taller. The rest range from very tight but if one pulls up in the Lift the dot post hard, one can just get it to close to hell-no-it-ain't-gonna-go (without ripping out a snap).
