Description
Weatherby Athena 20 gauge over/under, made in Japan by SKB during the original Athena production period from 1982-1990. Features 26-inch barrels with vented rib, 3" chambers, fixed chokes MOD over IMP CYL, a single gold-toned trigger with non-selective tang mount safety switch, and factory automatic shell ejectors. The silver-colored receiver has ornamental engraving, complemented by strikingly figured high gloss walnut stock and forearm with finely cut checkering, a contrasting pistol grip cap, and a ventilated rubber recoil pad. Conditon is estimated at 95%. The gun came to us from a very well-maintained private collection, showing only light handling wear and a few very small dings in the wood, which is consistent with careful use by the previous owner. Both bores are clean and mirror-bright, and the action works smoothly. No box or case.
