Weatherby Vanguard Compact Truck Gun 308 Win 20" Bolt Action Rifle

Weatherby Vanguard Compact Truck Gun Features The Weatherby Vanguard Compact Truck Gun is built around a cold hammer forged 20 barrel chambered in .308 Win with a 1-in-10 twist rate that stabilizes a wide range of bullet weights for hunting and general-purpose shooting. The two-stage adjustable trigger gives the shooter a crisp predictable break which translates directly into tighter groups from field positions. A 2 muzzle brake mounted on the 1/2x28 threaded muzzle tames recoil substantially making the rifle easier to manage for quick follow-up shots on game. The receiver is drilled and tapped for optics so the rifle is ready to mount a scope right out of the box. The barreled action wears a Graphite Black Cerakote finish for corrosion resistance and a durable low-glare surface that holds up to field conditions season after season. The Monte Carlo polymer stock is finished in a Hand Painted Black Rust and Stone Quarry pattern giving the rifle a distinctive camouflage look that stands apart from a plain black synthetic stock. A 3-position safety lets the shooter work the bolt to safely unload the rifle without fully disengaging the safety adding an extra layer of control in the field. At just 7 lbs and 39.5 overall the Vanguard Compact Truck Gun is sized for hunters who want a short easy-to-carry .308 rifle for close cover or a dependable truck gun ready at a moment s notice.
