Weatherby Vanguard Obsidian .308 Win 18" Threaded Barrel 4-Rounds

Weatherby Vanguard Obsidian Features The Weatherby Vanguard Obsidian is built around a cold hammer forged steel barrel that is threaded 1/2x28 for the addition of a muzzle device giving shooters flexibility for suppressor use or a brake without sending the barrel out for gunsmithing. The two-stage match grade adjustable trigger provides a clean predictable break that helps shooters extract the rifle s SUB-MOA accuracy potential in the field or at the bench. A 1:10 inch twist rate stabilizes a broad range of .308 Winchester bullet weights giving hunters flexibility in load selection for different game and distances. The three position safety and M16 style extractor round out an action built for dependable cycling under field conditions. The Vanguard Obsidian pairs its blued barrel and receiver with a weather resistant black Monte Carlo synthetic stock featuring a raised comb that improves cheek weld when using a mounted scope. At 7.4 pounds and a 13.5 inch length of pull the rifle balances comfortably for carry during long hunts while remaining stable for precision shots. The stainless steel receiver is drilled and tapped for scope bases so shooters can mount optics without additional machining. Weatherby s reputation for accuracy combined with this rifle s practical features make the Vanguard Obsidian a dependable choice for hunters seeking a capable .308 bolt action without a premium price tag.
